At Respira Counseling & Wellness, our workshops are all about helping you connect, grow, and feel more like yourself. Open to individuals 11 and older (unless otherwise specified), these events are designed to provide you with the space and tools to build confidence, explore new skills, and form meaningful connections with others.
Each workshop is packed with creative activities and uplifting conversations that focus on helping you tap into your inner strength and recognize your unique worth. It's all about celebrating who you are, building resilience, and finding ways to navigate life’s ups and downs with confidence and grace. We’re here to support you every step of the way on your journey to self-love and empowerment.

Are you ready to finally put yourself back on your own priority list?
Join us for the 24 Days of Self-Love Accountability Group, a 6-week virtual experience designed to help you nurture your emotional wellness, build healthy habits, and create a sustainable self-care routine with the support of a compassionate community.
Guided by the workbook 24 Days of Self-Love through Acts of Self-Care, written by Shasterin Valentin, LCSW, this group provides weekly support, encouragement, and gentle accountability as you explore meaningful acts of self-love. Each week, you’ll connect with others who are also working toward honoring their needs, strengthening their confidence, and creating space for themselves in their daily lives.
What You Can Expect
Over the course of 6 weeks, you will:
Set clear intentions and personal goals for your self-love journey
Participate in weekly check-ins to share progress, challenges, and wins
Identify barriers to self-care and learn supportive tools to navigate them
Engage in reflective discussions and guided exercises from the workbook
Build your own “empowerment tribe” of individuals committed to growth and emotional wellness

A Creative Goal-Setting & Empowerment Workshop
Vision boards are fun, but what if your goals felt doable, energizing, and trackable in a creative and nostalgic way?
Join us for Vision Bingo, a creative and intentional workshop where we transform traditional goal-setting into a personalized BINGO card of accomplishments, habits, and experiences you want to strive for before the end of the year.
Participants will create a Bingo board filled with realistic goals, self-care practices, and joy-filled moments: experiences that support work/life balance and your nervous system.
This workshop blends reflection, creativity, and gentle accountability in a supportive, community-centered space. You’ll be guided to:
Identify goals that feel aligned and meaningful
Break big dreams into small, achievable wins
Create a visual, interactive Bingo card you can revisit all year long
Whether it’s “schedule that appointment,” “take a rest day without guilt,” “try something new,” or “celebrate myself out loud,” every square is an invitation to honor and prioritize your self-care.

Join Respira Counseling & Wellness, LLC on March 7th, 2025, for an uplifting and relaxing evening celebrating International Women’s Day! This empowering Self-Care Evening Retreat is open to women ages 18+ (a gender-affirming and inclusive event) and will take place at The S.P.L.A.S.H. Project in Hartford, CT.

This retreat will take us through a day of relaxing, informative, and uplifting activities, and mini lessons will have us reconnecting with others over a meal by the end of the night. We will be wrapping up this event with Shay instructing a chair dance class to empower, help you step into your authentic self, embrace your body & femininity, expand your mind and fall in love with who you are.
This retreat offers an immersive mind-body-soul experience, featuring:
Variety of Self-Care Activities
Enjoy yoga session like no other with the Queen of Cafe Con Flow, massages, tea-making sessions, empowerment photoshoots, and make-up sessions, along with vendors showcasing wellness and beauty products. Some vendors may charge additional small fees for select services.
Empowering Chair Dance Class
Led by Certified Chair Dance Instructor Shay Diaz of Own It With Shay Coaching, this 90-minute class will help you reconnect with your body, embrace your strength, and celebrate your power through movement.

In today’s fast-paced and often stressful environment, prioritizing mental health and wellness has never been more crucial. At Respira Counseling & Wellness, LLC, we believe in the transformative power of experiential workshops designed to foster connection, self-discovery, and holistic well-being. We are excited to present our proposal for a collaboration that empowers your staff through engaging, creative, and educational workshop experiences.
We offer a range of workshops that are both enriching and applicable to various professional settings ranging from 90 -120 mins. Below are our signature workshops available:
1. Vision Boarding & Mission Statement Workshop ~ 120 Mins
Theme: Manifestation, Goal Setting, Self-Discovery
Overview: Participants will engage in guided reflection to create personal vision boards and mission statements. This workshop emphasizes clarity and intention as participants align their values and aspirations with their goals, promoting focus and purpose-driven living.
2. Letting It Go: Smash Plate & Intention-Setting Experience ~ 90 mins
Theme: Release, Renewal, Emotional Freedom
Overview: This interactive workshop allows participants to release stress through an engaging smash plate activity. Following the physical release, participants will engage in journaling and intention-setting exercises, making space for positive energy and emotional renewal.
3. Plant Care & Self-Care Workshop ~120 mins
Theme: Growth, Mindfulness, Nurturing the Self
Overview: A hands-on workshop where participants connect with nature by painting pots and planting greenery. This experience highlights the parallels between nurturing plants and self-care, encouraging mindfulness and personal growth.
4. Nervous System Regulation & Self-Care Session ~ 90 mins
Theme: Healing, Grounding, Mind-Body Connection
Overview: This therapeutic workshop focuses on understanding stress and its effects on the body. Participants will learn self-regulation techniques through grounding exercises and breathing practices, enhancing body awareness, emotional balance, and resilience.
