Hi, I’m Shay.
I’m the founder of Becoming HER by Shay, a wellness coach with a background in psychology, and a woman who truly understands that healing and growth are not linear, they are a journey.
My story did’t start in a perfect place. Like many women, I’ve walked through seasons of struggle, self-doubt, and learning who I really was. Becoming a mother at a young age forced me to grow up quickly, and through the years I’ve experienced love, heartbreak, loss, challenges, and incredible moments of growth. Each chapter shaped the woman I am today.
For a long time, I felt like I didn’t quite belong anywhere. I was born in Massachusetts and raised in Puerto Rico, often feeling caught between two worlds. But over time, I realized that my story, my experiences, and even my struggles were preparing me for something greater, helping other women find their strength and their voice.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and wellness certifications, and I spent over a decade working in the medical field. During that time, I saw so many patients struggling not only physically, but emotionally, feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from their bodies, and unsure of how to take back control of their health and their lives.
That experience changed me. It made me realize that healing is not just physical, it’s mental, emotional, and deeply personal.
My own health journey also opened my eyes even more. Living with hypothyroidism and dealing with issues like bloating and gut health struggles pushed me to make changes in my lifestyle and truly understand how connected our mind and body are.
That’s how Becoming HER was born.
Becoming HER is not about perfection. It’s about evolution. It’s about learning from the wisdom of the women who came before us. It’s about taking risk, making mistakes, falling down, and getting back up stronger and more resilient each time. It’s about learning to find blessings even in the hardest seasons and discovering purpose in everyday life.
Through my coaching, workshop, and content, my mission is to help women reconnect with themselves, mind, body, and spirit. I want women to build a healthier relationship with food, their bodies, and their self-worth. I want them to know they are capable of healing, growing, and creating a life that truly feels aligned with who they are.
Because the past is gone, and the future is uncertain. But the woman you are becoming is created in the choices you make today. And my purpose is to walk alongside women as they step into the strongest, healthiest, most authentic version of themselves.

The 90-Day Habit Transformation Program is designed to help women reset their routines, build healthier habits, and create lasting change in their lives. Over 12 weeks, we focus on small, intentional shifts that lead to powerful transformation in your mindset, daily habits, and overall wellbeing.
Through science based habit strategies and practical tools, you’ll learn how to break patterns that no longer serve you and build habits that support the life you truly want.

This program is about creating habits that last and stepping into the strongest, healthiest version of yourself.
This 12-week program is designed to help you understand your gut, heal it, and learn how to support if for the long run. We start with the foundations, learning how your gut microbiome affects digestion, hormones, mood, and overall health. As we move through the program, you’ll explore possible food sensitivities through a guided elimination diet while gaining deeper knowledge about common gut issues and the gut-brain connection.
In the later weeks, we focus on lifestyle habits like better sleep, stress management, and movement so your gut can truly thrive. By the end of this journey, you’ll walk away with the tools, awareness, and healthy habits needed to support your gut and feel your best from the inside out.
